With her 78th victory of her career at Semmering, Austria, Mikaela Shiffrin moved one victory closer to breaking the women’s World Cup victory record.

The 27-year-old American won the giant slalom, beating Petra Vlhova of Slovakia into second place.

Now only four victories separate her from her countrywoman Lindsey Vonn’s retired women’s record.

Shiffrin, the current overall world champion, declared after her fourth victory of the year, “My form is good.”
