Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi both scored twice as Celtic easily defeated St. Johnstone to retake the lead atop the Scottish Premiership by nine points.
After Hatate’s first goal and a disastrous defensive performance by St Johnstone, Kyogo scored again from close range.
After the break, the impromptu full-back scored again, and Drey Wright added a consolation.
Late in the game, Celtic’s replacement David Turnbull was dismissed.
The midfielder’s high challenge on Remi Matthews didn’t significantly alter the result, as St. Johnstone is still in fifth place.
