PARIS and LONDON — Authorities say a man attacked the Gare du Nord station in Paris early Wednesday morning, injuring several people.
“An individual injured several people this morning at the Gare du Nord,” said Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin in a tweet. He was quickly defeated. Thank you to the police for their quick and brave response.”
The Gare du Nord in Paris is one of Europe’s largest and busiest train stations. It serves Paris’s northern suburbs and is a stop on the London-Paris Channel Tunnel route.
