Authorities in San Francisco are making a new effort to apprehend a serial killer they suspect killed many people in the 1970s in a string of horrific killings that alarmed the city’s LGBT population.
At least six men were slain by the “Doodler” killer in the middle of the decade; his final victim is thought to have been killed in 1975. A $250,000 reward is currently being offered by the San Francisco Police Department for information that results in an arrest and conviction.
According to San Francisco Police Department investigator Dan Cunningham, “These individuals — the victims — came to this city for a better life and ended up getting slaughtered.” They deserve justice, as do their families, and we are all now fighting for them.
