Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, refused to say whether striker Gabriel Jesus had traveled for the opening leg of his team’s last-16 Europa League match.

Prior to the team’s flight to Portugal, Brazilian attacker Jesus, who has been sidelined since December due to a knee injury, trained in London on Wednesday.

Arteta remained vague when questioned in Lisbon if the 25-year-old was also present.

You can check out who is available on Thursday once we bring a few players.

Jesus has resumed full squad training after undergoing surgery to treat his knee injuries from the 2022 World Cup.

For the Gunners in the Premier League, the former Manchester City attacker has five goals and six assists.

Jesus, who joined league leaders Arsenal last summer, won’t be pushed back, according to Arteta.

We’ll do our best to balance what he needs with when in a reasonable manner.
