Everton forward Moise Kean signs a long-term contract with Juventus

Italian forward Moise Kean has signed a permanent 28 million euro (£25 million) transfer from Everton to Juventus.

The 23-year-old has spent the past two seasons on loan at the Serie A team, and Juventus has fulfilled its commitment to purchase the forward.

The amount, which includes bonuses of £2.5 million, was decided upon in August 2021.

Kean, who has 12 Italy caps, cost £25 million to initially sign with the Toffees in 2019, but he only scored four goals in 39 outings across all competitions.

Moreover, he spent a season on loan at Paris St-Germain, where he won the French Cup and scored 17 goals in 41 games.

Kean has scored 13 goals in 74 matches for Juventus and has won two league titles and the Coppa Italia.

On Sunday he was sent off 40 seconds after coming on as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Roma.

Kean signed with Juventus when he was barely 10 years old, and in 2016, at the age of 16, he made his first-team debut.

Juventus are seventh in Serie A after being docked 15 points in January following an inquiry into the club’s prior transfer activities.

Everton has already sold two key players this year after Anthony Gordon, a forward, left for Newcastle in January for £45 million.
