Due to a shoulder injury, vice-captain Courtney Lawes will not play for England against France in the Six Nations on Saturday.
Lawes came off the bench against Wales after making his comeback, but he has since suffered another setback.
Marcus Smith, the fly-half, has been kept on the 27-man roster as George Ford heads back to Sale.
Smith was let go from camp last week, but now he’s expected to play against the French.
